Take A Break! Teacher Toolbox Gr. 3-6
This book is a resource available for free on the web as a .pdf file. It states, "These 1-5 minutes breaks should be used once every 30-60 minutes every day for all students, and even yourself. There are two main sections to this Toolbox: 1. Printable activity cards and 2. Online resources. The Printable Activity Cards contain over 100 secondary appropriate and easy to integrate activities; including a lesson plan template for your students to create their own activities. To Print: These were compiled in a way for you to be able to print 2-4 slides per page. You can then laminate, cut out and clip together your new Toolbox or “stack” of easily-accessible activities! The Online Resources Section has everything from YouTube videos, games, music, interactive programs/challenges for you and your students. |

It states, "In partnership with the Michigan Department of Education, NC created our own version of Brain Breaks with more emphasis on “physical exertion” to create the “Energizers”.
